learn how other treasurers are tackling the same challenges

Working across complex countries frequently generates new and unique country specific issues and challenges. The CXC calls are incredibly useful for sharing information, experiences and knowledge with Treasury peers. It is also reassuring to learn that others face the same or similar issues and challenges.

learn from practitioners who have faced the problem before

The concept is great. You get a good variety of people on the calls, the learning aspect is great. The difficulty with these countries is that they aren’t straightforward - there are no magic bullets - it’s important that the people taking part have views and share, involvement is import and they do that well.

CXC updates are very useful, I recommend them to anyone with an interest in Corporate Treasury.

find new ways to solve complex treasury problems

Always a pleasure to participate in these sessions, which are indeed a win-win-win. We either confirm our Treasury processes are thorough and robust, or identify weaknesses and the way to address them, or better yet, find new innovative ways to look at issues in some countries, which can be replicated in other complex countries! all of that in utmost confidentiality and expertly moderated to boot.! Not a call goes by without a key learning to be had. Keep up the excellent work Rupert Keenlyside and thank you!

insights into areas you’d not thought of

I’d highly recommend CompleXCountries to the Corporate Treasurer. Gaining insights into peers’ challenges and solutions in today’s rapidly evolving treasury world is a great resource to have, whether in a known territory or venturing somewhere new. Also it’s not just about countries – I find that most if not all issues that come across my desk have been covered by the team, often contemporaneously. Reports can give insights into areas you’d not thought of, validate the path you’re currently on, or give food for thought before embarking on a new strategy… all of which are delivered without any marketing or a sell-side angle..

Oliver Robinson, Treasury Director, Vertiv, Ireland
